Return postage is customer-paid for change-of-mind returns and seller-paid for defective or incorrect goods. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Returns must be sent to our Livorno address below, not to a Gelato production facility. Contacting us for practical shipping instructions does not make a statutory cancellation subject to our approval.
Our prints, mugs and totes use our catalogue designs. Production after ordering does not automatically remove statutory withdrawal rights. For eligible EU and UK distance purchases, you may notify us that you wish to withdraw within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Send your notice to info@italianfromzero.it, with your order details.
After notifying withdrawal, return the goods within the applicable 14-day period to Donati Films di Francesca Donati S.a.s., Via Aurelio Nicolodi 46, 57121 Livorno (LI), Italy. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods if you change your mind. We cover the necessary return costs for defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods; contact info@italianfromzero.it so we can arrange the return. Faulty or misdescribed goods are handled under the applicable consumer remedies; a standard change-of-mind postage rule does not override those rights.
For a valid statutory withdrawal, we reimburse the amounts required by law, including the standard outbound delivery charge where applicable, through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed without extra cost. Under applicable EU/UK rules, reimbursement is due within 14 days of notice; it may be withheld until the returned goods or evidence of return is received, whichever comes first.
Contact info@italianfromzero.it with the order number and a description of the problem. Photos of the item and packaging can help us resolve the issue. Your statutory remedies and reporting periods are not replaced by a short Gelato claim window. We will arrange the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
For customers in the USA and Canada, we voluntarily accept change-of-mind returns of our standard catalogue products. Notify info@italianfromzero.it within 14 days after delivery, then send the goods back within 14 days after your notice to the Livorno return address above. The customer pays direct return postage, including international postage. Items must be unused apart from reasonable inspection and packed securely. No restocking fee applies. We refund the returned items and, for a full-order return, the standard outbound delivery charge, using the original payment method within 14 days after receiving the goods or evidence of dispatch, whichever comes first. These commercial conditions do not restrict any mandatory state, provincial or other consumer rights, including different cancellation deadlines, refunds or seller-paid return costs where required by law. Mandatory local protections always apply. If we later offer genuinely personalised products, any lawful withdrawal exception will be explained before ordering; it will not remove rights concerning defects.
